BARCELONA CLUB TO ESTABLISH CHILDREN'S ACADEMY IN MONGOLIA

Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, Ms. Undram Chinbat, met with Joan Laporta, President of FC Barcelona, in Barcelona, Spain.
During the meeting, President Laporta expressed FC Barcelona’s interest in cooperating to develop the talents of Mongolian children and youth and announced the club’s decision to establish a Barça Academy, a youth football academy, in Mongolia in 2026.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth expressed its policy-level support for the initiative and confirmed its willingness to cooperate. The two sides reached a mutual understanding on the direction and potential opportunities for future collaboration.
Minister Ms. Undram Chinbat emphasized the significance of this decision in advancing Mongolian sports and nurturing the talents of children and youth in line with international standards. He also expressed his appreciation for FC Barcelona’s cooperation. During the visit, the Minister was introduced to the construction progress of the new Spotify Camp Nou stadium, as well as the club’s organizational structure and museum activities.
