EXPANSION OF THE MORIN KHUUR ENSEMBLE TO FORM THE MORIN KHUUR ORCHESTRA

During a routine session of the Cabinet, the Government of Mongolia issued a resolution to elevate the esteemed Morin Khuur Ensemble, adorned with the Supreme Decoration of the Mongolian State, Order of Chinggis Khaan, to the status of "Morin Khuur Orchestra."
In accordance with the Presidential Decree aimed at honoring and advancing the Morin Khuur, the Government has outlined a series of measures to be undertaken. As part of the initiative to expand the Morin Khuur Ensemble, the regulations and organizational structure of the Mongolian Philharmonic will undergo revision to incorporate a total of 61 dedicated staff members.
