NATIONAL LITERATURE AND LITERATURE DAYS

According to the Law on Public Holidays and Celebrations, starting from this year, the National Literacy and Book Days will be officially celebrated and this is the 30th Book Festival.
The Book Festival is being held at Sukhbaatar Square under the auspices of the Speaker of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar, jointly organized by the Capital City Governor's Office and the Book Culture World NGO.
Ts. Munkhtsetseg and Ch. Undram, Members of the State Great Hural, who initiated and approved the amendments to the law, and M. Batbayar, Deputy Minister of Culture, and J. Sandagsuren, Deputy Mayor for Human Development and Social Policy, said, “Book culture B.Suvd, the head of “World” NGO, participated and gave a speech.
In his speech, Deputy Minister of Culture M.Batbayar emphasized that he will work with legislators, writers, publishers and distributors to educate the people on the spiritual values of the Book, improve the content and standards of books and publications, and create a favorable tax environment.
Librarians N.Adiya and B.Bolor, who have achieved great success in the field of books and culture, were awarded the “Certificate” by the Ministry of Culture, and T.Nomin, a student of the Book World Club, Ch.Zandangarav, and Kh. Enerel, B.Khayangirvaa, B.Battsetseg, B.Tuvshinsaikhan, 6A grade student of 142nd school of Bayanzurkh district, and B.Erdembileg, 5th grade student of “Ui tea” school were awarded with “Leading reader D.Natsagdorj character” respectively .
Deputy Minister of Culture M.Batbayar visited the National Library, Bogd Khaan's Palace Museum and National History Museum under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. People's writer P.Badarch and Chinggis Khaan , Ts.Bavuudorj, a state-approved poet, met and talked with the creators of the book.
M.Saruuldalai, Executive Director of the Mongolian Writers 'Union, thanked the Ministry of Culture for supporting the publication of the 100th anniversary of S.Udval, the founder of the Writers' Palace. Introduced the work.
In the children's book pavilion, Deputy Minister M.Batbayar met with L.Sambuu, a children's author and literary critic, to discuss the content and language of the book. A special meeting will be held to improve the content of the book.
