THE STATE COUNCIL FOR PHYSICAL EXERCISES AND SPORTS CONTINUES TO HOLD DARKHAN CITY

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, in cooperation with the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports, the Government Implementing Agency, and the Office of the Governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag, is jointly organizing the State Conference on Physical Education and Sports and the 7th Sports Competitions among sector employees on 10–12 October 2025 in Darkhan-Uul aimag.
The State Conference was officially opened on 11 October 2025 by Ms. Undram Chinbat, Member of the Government of Mongolia and Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, who presented the sector’s current policies and strategic priorities. In her address, the Minister emphasized that future efforts would focus on implementing science-based policies and programs in physical education and sports, advancing digital transformation through integrated information systems, expanding international cooperation, and elevating sports diplomacy to a new level.

Minister Ms. Undram Chinbat highlighted four key priority areas: increasing public participation in physical education and sports; improving athletic performance and enhancing international competitiveness; strengthening human resource development in the sector; and creating a supportive environment and sustainable financing mechanisms for physical education and sports.
The Minister expressed her appreciation to the Governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag, Azjargal B., the leadership and staff of the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports, the Darkhan-Uul aimag Physical Education and Sports Department, as well as representatives and officials from 21 aimags and nine districts for their support in hosting the conference.

Following the opening ceremony, a plenary session of the conference was held. During the session, Jargalsaikhan D., Head of the Department for Coordination of the Implementation of Physical Education and Sports Policy at the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, presented a report on “Physical Education and Sports Policy, Legal Framework, and Activities.” Enkhtur B., Senior State Tax Inspector of the General Tax Department, delivered a presentation on “Challenges in Supporting Sports through Tax Policy,” while Shurendolgor G., Internal Auditor of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, presented findings on “Results of the Financial Audit of the Physical Education and Sports Sector.”
