MINISTER OF CULTURE, SPORTS, TOURISM AND YOUTH OF MONGOLIA, NOMIN CH., MET WITH A. M. GOTSURVEY, AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA TO MONGOLIA

The Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia, Nomin Ch., received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia, H.E. Atul Malhari Gotsurve, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture, sports, tourism and youth development.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the restoration of historical buildings, under the guidance of Indian restoration experts, is progressing successfully as part of the ongoing Mongolian-Indian cultural cooperation. The two parties also explored ways to strengthen collaboration in the cultural sector and re-establish relevant bilateral agreements.
Further discussions included specific initiatives such as enrolling cultural sector professionals in specialized training programs in India, fostering direct cooperation between museum institutions, and establishing a memorandum of cooperation in the film industry.
As part of the “Years to Visit Mongolia” initiative, the parties will explore opportunities to attract tourists from India and study potentials for the establishment of direct flights between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to actively cooperate in expanding and enhancing bilateral relations between Mongolia and India.
