Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia, Ms. Nomin Chinbat, received Mr. Jaap van Hierden, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Mongolia and his delegation to discuss expanding cooperation in the sectors of culture, sports, tourism and youth.
During the meeting, the two sides:
Exchanged views on broadening collaboration in the relevant sectors
Agreed to jointly develop a cooperation plan for 2026
They also emphasized the potential for joint efforts to promote eco-tourism and support community-based tourism development, particularly by involving and benefiting local residents.
