The Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin met with representatives of the film industry
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin introduced and exchanged views on the draft “Strategic Plan for the Development of Creative Cultural Production”, which is the goal of the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Culture for 2021-2024. The meeting discussed the current state of development of Mongolian cinema, the legal environment, film entertainment policy, issues related to film distribution, the importance of film art in society, and ways to open the film market. At the same time, artists in the film industry expressed their support for the policy pursued by the Minister of Culture, and called attention to the lack of human resources policy in the sector and the lack of teaching staff. The artists also stressed the importance of sustainable sector policy.
