MET WITH THE PROJECT TEAM IMPLEMENTING KOICA’S VOLUNTEER PROGRAM OF THE KOREA INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AGENCY

A meeting aimed at strengthening human resource capacity in Mongolia’s tourism sector was held on 9 September 2025 with representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Office in Mongolia and the project team implementing KOICA’s Volunteer Program.

Within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, a four-year project (2025–2028) has been launched to support the effective operation of the newly established Tourism Training Center, enhance human resources in the tourism sector, and expand bilateral cooperation through the exchange of knowledge and experience.
As part of the project, the two sides are cooperating to deliver training programs in tourism, the Korean language, international development, and digital marketing. These initiatives are expected to create significant opportunities for tourism enterprises and organizations to strengthen the professional skills and capacity of their workforce.
